HBC Mothers’ Retreats

A sacred space for the cesarean healing journey

We are proud to offer online, day, and weekend retreats for women who have planned an out-of-hospital birth and transported during pregnancy or labor for a cesarean.

The online, day, and weekend retreats offer HBC mothers a sacred space, away from the cares of day-to-day life, to pursue a deep healing months or even years after a difficult birth. We gather with the intention to support each other on a shared quest for birth healing, wisdom, and the reclamation of self.

I felt held during the retreat in a way that I missed in labor and birth; held by the time and space allocated for myself, by the retreat house, and by our loving circle.
—Dana, (2012/HBC, Western U.S.)

Every excuse ran through my mind on why I shouldn’t go. But my time at the retreat was spent giving to myself and my personal growth and provided a lifelong positive impact. This was an instant return on my investment.
