It is with sadness and love that I share this news with you. Ann Jamison, co-founder of HBCI, Board Vice President, Program Director, Book Doula, and all around amazing woman, has resigned.

She writes:

My personal commitments, chief among them some emerging health needs of my family, have become too overwhelming for me to continue fulfilling the requirements of my role with Homebirth Cesarean International. I feel it is best for me to make room for someone with the time and energy to devote to this important job.

My heart is heavy over this decision. I believe in the mission of HBCI and have gotten immense personal and professional satisfaction out of its growth, work, and the relationships I’ve developed through being a part of it. I have no doubt that HBCI will continue on a path to success an in fulfilling its mission to offer awareness, support, and healing to the women it serves.

I wish you all nothing but health, happiness, and success in the future.

There is not 1 nor 8 women who can replace Ann. She leaves behind a legacy of amazing devotion, creative ideas and inspirational love. Our hearts are with her as she focuses on the needs of her family.
